Athlete Shakhbulat Shamkhalaev wounded in Makhachkala feels better

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on June 1, Shakhbulat Shamkhalaev, a well-known Russian athlete of mixed martial arts, was brought to the Makhachkala hospital with gunshot wounds. The incident occurred at the "Port-Petrovsk" restaurant. A record from the surveillance cameras was posted on the Internet.

"Shakhbulat Shamkhalaev got 13 bullets. Of them, only two bullets were fired from combat weapons, and the rest from traumatic weapons," said Shakhmurad Shamkhalaev.

According to him, the incident was caused by a "domestic conflict." "On May 31, he was invited to a cafe. His friend did not tell him that other people would join them there. They were sitting and were arguing about something. When Shakhbulat interfered, one of the sitting men told him not to intervene. Then, Shakhbulat himself got into a dispute," noted the source.

According to him, "on the other day, the people involved of the dispute were to come to terms."

A criminal case has been instituted on the fact of attempted murder, reports the website of the Investigating Department for Dagestan of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF).
