Policeman detained in Ingushetia suspected of involvement in IS
The policeman, in whose house, according to investigators, an arsenal of firearms was discovered, was involved in a group of Ingush residents detained on suspicion of having connections with the terrorist organization "Islamic State" (IS). This was stated by investigators.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on May 21, the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) reported on the detention in Ingushetia of four members of an underground unit affiliated with the terrorist organization "Islamic State". On the same day, according to law enforcers, they found firearms and ammunition in the house of a 44-year-old policeman in the village of Ekazhevo.
The policeman detained in the village of Ekazhevo is involved in a grouping which members were detained in Ingushetia on May 21. This was reported by an official of the Ingush law enforcement bodies.
"The 44-year-old acting law enforcer was a member of a criminal groping which members were detained late last week," reported the official of the Ingush law enforcement bodies as quotes today by the "TASS".
