Four Ingush residents detained on suspicion of having links with IS
In Ingushetia, members of a secret grouping, associated with the international terrorist organization "Islamic State" (IS) (banned in Russia), says the information centre of the Russian National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC).
"The grouping consisted of four residents of Ingushetia and was created to commit crimes against members of bodies of power, law enforcers and supporters of traditional Islam," the "Interfax" quotes a source from the NAC.
According to the NAC, in the Nazran District, hideouts were found, belonging to the detainees and containing weapons, including three ready-to-use improvised explosion devices (IEDs), grenades, Kalashnikov submachine guns and pistols.
Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" has reported about the detention on May 14 in Ingushetia of a suspect of recruiting fighters for the IS. During a search of a detainee's house, a grenade was found.
