Law enforcers announce versions of fire in Djalaldinov's house

The basic versions of the fires in the village of Kenkhi, Sharoi District, belonging to Ramazan Djalaldinov's family, are an arson and poor electric wiring, said the Prosecutor's Office of Chechnya.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in his video appeal to President Vladimir Putin Djalaldinov spoke about corruption in the Avar village of Kenkhi Sharoi District. At night on May 12, his house was burned down; and his wife and children were forced to go to Dagestan, where Ramazan is hiding. On May 13, Djalaldinov's eldest daughter said that their house was burned down by power agents; and his wife said that under the threat of violence, law enforcers forced her to defame her husband.

According to the Chechen Prosecutor's Office, the house burned down in Kenkhi did not belong to the Djalaldinovs family. Investigators found that the family had lived there as tenants.

"Now, we considered two versions of the accident: poor electric wiring, and a deliberate arson, which, quite possible, could be organized by Djalaldinov himself," said a source from the Prosecutor's Office.

Djalaldinov himself imitated the arson of his house, said Ramzan Kadyrov, currently the acting head of Chechnya.

Meanwhile, many people in the republic believe that Djalaldinov and his family are in serious danger, and believe that the family was forced to leave Chechnya.
