Armenian special services rule out version of terror act in the bus

The Armenia's Investigating Committee has suggested that the explosion in the bus in Yerevan had an occasional and domestic character. The version of a terror act is no longer considered, the National Security Service (NSS) has confirmed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that an explosion inside a bus in Alabyan Street occurred on April 25. According to the police, an explosive device was activated inside the bus, and the very moment of the explosion was recorded by surveillance cameras. Two persons were killed as a result of the explosion, eight more were injured.

According to investigators, the owner of the mobile operator's SIM-card, found in the blasted bus, had planned a crime against his relatives after a domestic quarrel, Sona Truzyan, the press secretary of the Investigating Committee of Armenia, said in her comment to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

"This information was obtained as a result of the joint work of the investigation team with the NSS," she said.

In its turn, the Armenia's NSS has excluded the version of a terror act committed in the Yerevan bus.

"The investigation team continues examining the versions of the bus explosion, but a terror act is completely excluded at the moment," says the statement released by the NSS.
