Since December 2015, police possess information about Khazan Bataeva's whereabouts in Syria, a source reports

Yet at the end of 2015, the law enforcement bodies of Chechnya had the information that Khazan (Aza) Bataeva, a well-known Chechen singer, might be in Syria. This was reported by an official from the Chechen law enforcement bodies. According to Chechen law enforcers, the video records, distributed on behalf of Khazan Bataeva, will not affect users of social networks.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that a video record reporting that Khazan (Aza) Bataeva, a well-known Chechen pop singer, has allegedly joined the "Islamic State" (banned in the Russian Federation) and is located on the territory controlled by the terrorist organization has caused a resonance among users of social networks.

The video shows how a woman in clothes completely covering her body and face (except her eyes) tears apart a Russian passport issued in the name of Bataeva and calls the audience to leave all that, according to the Koran, is considered as taboo and "go on the straight path."

A staff member of the Chechen Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) has noted that Chechen users of social networks received photos of Bataeva dressed in black hijab and her photo on a beach of the sea next to a bearded man in traditional Arab clothes.

According to the Chechen law enforcer, the video with the Bataeva's appeal at the end of which she tore apart her documents was posted on the Internet for the purposes of PR.

Fans of Khazan (Aza) Bataeva are surprised by the departure of the pop singer to Syria and such a fundamental change in her attitude to life.
