Robert Kocharyan's mansion subjected to armed attack
An unidentified person threw a grenade to the mansion of Robert Kocharyan, the second Armenian President. This was reported by the police. At the time of the attack, Robert Kocharyan was in Moscow, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.
At 6:00 p.m. local time of April 15, the police received a report that an unidentified person threw a grenade to the mansion of Robert Kocharyan located in Admiral Isakov Street in Yerevan, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by an Armenian policemen.
According to him, law enforcers are engaged in finding out the circumstances of the incident.
No blast occurred near the Robert Kocharyan's mansion, since the thrown grenade did not explode, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by Viktor Sogomonyan, the chief of the Robert Kocharyan's office.
"Family members of Robert Kocharyan were not injured," he said.
According to Viktor Sogomonyan, Robert Kocharyan himself was in Moscow at the time of the incident, where he took part in the meeting of directors of Joint-Stock Financial Corporation "Sistema".
