Case of liquidation of "Adyge Khase" in Karachay-Cherkessia closed

The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) has refused the claims in the case of liquidation of the public movement "Adyge Khase-Circassian Parliament" after the organization eliminated the violations specified by the MoJ, and the Supreme Court (SC) of Karachay-Cherkessia stopped the proceedings.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 16, the parties in the case on the elimination of the movement "Adyge Khase-Circassian Parliament" agreed to settle the dispute peacefully. The proceedings were suspended by the Supreme Court of Karachay-Cherkessia until April 7, and during that period of time, the organization was to provide the MoJ with the documents confirming the elimination of violations in its activities.

Circassian public figures saw political motives in the MoJ's lawsuit on the elimination of the movement "Adyge Khase-Circassian Parliament".

Today, at the court hearing, Zaur Botashev, the chief of the Department for NCOs Affairs of the Department for Karachay-Cherkessia of the Russian MoJ, has filed a disclaimer waiving all the claims.

According to Zaur Botashev, at the congress held on March 24, the movement "Adyge Khase-Circassian Parliament" formed its structural divisions in accordance with its charter, concluded a labour contract with the chairman of the movement, and adopted a new edition of the charter, taking into account the norms of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation.

Mukhamed Cherkesov, the head of the movement, has confirmed that all comments mentioned in the MoJ's lawsuit were taken into account.
