NKR claims over 200 killed Azerbaijani soldiers

The Defence Army of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) has announced that during the armed clashes on the border, over 200 soldiers of Azerbaijan were killed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today there was a massive escalation of the Karabakh conflict. The parties thereto have reported casualties among militaries and civilians, and destruction of military equipment. According to the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Azerbaijan as of 4:00 p.m. Moscow time, at least 112 soldiers had been killed and wounded.

As of 6:50 p.m. local time (5:50 p.m. Moscow time), the MoD of the NKR had information about at least 200 killed enemy soldiers. It is noted that the situation along the contact line remains extremely tense.

Let us remind you that Azerbaijan has confirmed the death of only 12 its soldiers. The Armenian MoD stated the absence of losses.
