IS takes responsibility for explosion in Sirtich
According to the statement of the "Islamic State" (IS), recognized as a terrorist organization, a bombing of a police car in the Tabasaran District of Dagestan was organized by the IS unit in Northern Caucasus.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 30, a car was blown up in the vicinity of the village of Sirtich. As a result, one policeman was killed and another one was injured. According to some reports, the policemen were chasing a car from the Suleiman-Stalsky District, and when they caught up with the suspects, an explosion occurred. According to other reports, the explosion occurred in the car en route. The exact number of victims of the explosion is still to be discovered.
On March 30, the "SITE Intelligence Group" (an NGO registered in the US that monitors the activity of terrorist groupings, note of the "Caucasian Knot") published a screenshot of a post in Arabic, which allegedly announced that the "Islamic State", recognized as a terrorist organization and banned in the Russian Federation, had taken responsibility for the explosion of the car in the village of Sirtich.
The statement declares that the terror act was committed by the IS unit in Northern Caucasus.
