Two Azerbaijani militaries killed in conflict zone

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) reports on the prevention of an attempt of diversion on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, as a result of which an officer and a soldier of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan were killed.

According to the Azerbaijani MoD, on March 27, Armenian armed troops violated the state border of Azerbaijan in the territory of the Gazakh District and tried to enter the territory of the country. As a result of a shootout with Armenian soldiers, an officer and a soldier of Azerbaijani Armed Forces Lieutenant Galib Zulfugarly and Soldier Gafarali Gadjiev were killed.

The Armenian side, according to the Azerbaijani MoD, also suffered losses, the "Trend" reports.

Till present, officials from Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh have not yet commented on the statement of the Azerbaijani MoD.
