Examination reveals Valery Permyakov's emotional instability

Prior to his conscription for military service, Valery Permyakov repeatedly underwent psychiatric examinations.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that starting from December 2015, the trial in the case against Valery Permyakov is being held in the territory of the 102nd Russian military base in Gyumri. On March 11, the court announced the completion of questioning of witnesses and began to study the case materials.

On January 12, 2015, in Gyumri, six members of the Avetisyan family were assassinated. The only survivor of the attack – the six-month-old Sergey Avetisyan – was hospitalized in critical condition and underwent his treatment in Yerevan. On January 19, the baby's condition has deteriorated and he died. Soldier Valery Permyakov is a defendant in the case of the murder. On August 12, 2015, the Russian court sentenced him to 10 years of imprisonment on the charges of desertion, theft, and illegal possession of weapons.

Today, the court has listened to the information that Valery Permyakov underwent brain tomography. He was supposed to be diagnosed with oligophrenia, but the examination did not confirm the decease. Valery Permyakov is diagnosed with the average level of mental development; the examination has also revealed his moderate anxiety, epileptoid type, and uncommunicativeness.

Valery Permyakov underwent the additional examination at the conscription board in Russia, and in accordance with its results, he was found fit for military service.

Public prosecutor has made public the records made by the defendant in social networks "VKontakte" and "Odnoklassniki". So, Valery Permyakov wrote that he "concluded a pact with the devil in which he wrote that he renounced the Holy Trinity, his christening and agrees to sacrifice several men and women."

Eduard Agadjanyan, an advocate of Valery Permyakov, has noted that he did not recognize any noticeable abnormalities in his client and that both examinations recognized Valery Permyakov as sane.
