In Dagestan, a man killed in bomb explosion
Last night, in Dagestan, an explosion occurred in the vicinity of the village of Mutsalaul of the Khasavyurt District. As a result, a man was killed. The police believe that he was a militant, blown up by his own bomb, reports a source from the law enforcement bodies.
According to the source, the incident occurred last night at about 10:00 p.m. Moscow time. Local residents reported to the police about the sound of the explosion.
The deceased man has not been identified yet. However, according to the preliminary information, he was a militant, blown up by a bomb made by himself, the "Interfax-South" reports.
The criminal case on the fact of explosion was instituted under Article 223 (illegal manufacturing of explosive devices) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, reports a source from the law enforcement bodies as quoted by the "AIF-Dagestan".
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that at night of March 17, four explosive devices were discovered in an abandoned shelter in front of the rural school in the village of Mutsalaul. The bombs were destroyed. Later, the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) reported on the detention of three residents of Dagestan, who were plotting terror acts.
