Nadezhda Savchenko sentenced to 22 years of imprisonment
The Donetsk City Court of the Rostov Region has sentenced Ukrainian aviator Nadezhda Savchenko to 22 years of imprisonment in a common-security penal colony and a fine of 30,000 roubles.
Nadezhda Savchenko has been sentenced to 18 years of imprisonment under the charge of involvement in the murder of Russian journalists Voloshin and Kornelyuk and to other 10 years of imprisonment under the charge of an attempt on Denisov, a camera man. After the partial combination of the punishment, the defendant has been finally sentenced to 22 years of imprisonment in a common-security penal colony, the "Caucasian Knot" reports.
