Third version of air crash in Rostov-on-Don announced
Apart from pilots' errors and adverse weather conditions, the crash of the passenger Boeing 737-800 NG of the "FlyDubai" airline, which made a flight from Dubai to Rostov-on-Don, could be a technical failure, believes the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF).
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that last night, 62 people were killed in the crash of the Boeing 737-800 NG of the "FlyDubai" airlines, which was on route from Dubai to Rostov-on-Don.
Within the inquiry into the crash, investigators are confiscating the flight documents and study the actions of the airport staff, said Vladimir Markin, the ICRF spokesman. He cited the main versions, considered by investigators, as a crew mistake, bad weather and a technical failure, the "Interfax" writes.
All the air traffic controllers of the Rostov Airport have been already examined by doctors; no alcohol was detected in the blood of any of them, the "LifeNews" reports referring to its source from the infirmary of the airport.
At a press conference in Dubai, the circumstances of the air crash were commented on by Ghaith al-Ghaith, Executive Director of the "FlyDubai". According to his story, the crew was experienced and had a sufficient level of control over the aircraft at all conditions. The aircraft underwent the last test on January 21, 2016, said Ghaith al-Ghaith, excluding any possibility that the incident was the result of a terror act, the TASS reports.
