Mikhail Kasyanov's complaint against Ramzan Kadyrov sent to Chechnya for consideration

The Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) has sent to Chechnya the complaint filed by Mikhail Kasyanov and Vladimir Kara-Murza Jr, the leaders of the "PARNAS" Party, with a request to launch an investigation into the post on the Ramzan Kadyrov's Instagram page, which the oppositionists treated as a death threat.

The fact that the complaint was sent by the ICRF to the investigating authorities of Chechnya was reported by Kara-Murza Jr.

"Officials from the ICRF have a sense of humour better than officials from the FSB. The complaint filed by me and Mikhail Kasyanov regarding Ramzan Kadyrov was sent to the ICRF's Investigating Department for Chechnya," wrote Vladimir Kara-Murza on his Twitter page on March 13.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on February 1, on his Instagram page, Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov published a video, in which Mikhail Kasyanov appeared under a filter simulating a rifle sight. In connection with the post, Mikhail Kasyanov complained about the direct death threat against him as a public official and filed complaints against Ramzan Kadyrov to the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) and the FSB. The video record with Mikhail Kasyanov has already been removed from the Ramzan Kadyrov's Instagram page in accordance with the Instagram administration's decision for violating the rules of the social network.

It should be noted that on March 13, Mikhail Kasyanov reported that the FSB found no evidence of crime in the video record posted on the Chechen leader's page on Instagram. The oppositionist has criticized the decision. "Such a response given by the FSB means that Russian President Vladimir Putin, the head of the secret services and all other law enforcement bodies, approve these methods of political struggle against me and the 'Democratic Coalition of PARNAS'," noted Mikhail Kasyanov on his Facebook page.
