Magomed Akhmeddibirov arrested on suspicion of murder and placed to Buynaksk IVS

In Dagestan, Magomed Akhmeddibirov, a resident of the village of Nizhnee Kazanische, whose disappearance after the release from the detention facility in Makhachkala was claimed by his relatives, was placed to the IVS (temporary detention facility) of Buynaksk. According to officials from the Buynaksk ROVD (District Interior Division), Magomed Akhmeddibirov is suspected of murder.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on February 24, Magomed Akhmeddibirov was arrested for a period of 10 days under Article "Failure to obey lawful demands of policemen". Magomed Akhmeddibirov, born in 1985, is a Category II Invalid, and he was involved as a witness in the criminal case of the murder of two elderly villagers. According to the Public Oversight Commission (POC), an advocate was allowed to visit Magomed Akhmeddibirov only three days after his detention.

On March 6, it was revealed that Magomed Akhmeddibirov is being kept at the IVS of the city of Buynaksk, where he was placed as a person suspected of murdering two residents of the village of Nizhnee Kazanische, advocate Khamzat Ilyasov reports.

"According to the defendant, he was again subjected to physical pressure. I was not informed about his detention," said Khamzat Ilyasov. The advocate has added that his client has an alibi.

According to a relative of Magomed Akhmeddibirov, at the time of the murder, he was in the house of his sister. The relative has also noted that the young man did not enter any conflicts with the killed villagers and that he was not even acquainted with them.
