Mobile guide released for excursions in Derbent

A free-of-charge mobile guide that runs through the izi.TRAVEL has been designed for the Museum of History of World's Cultures and Religions of Derbent and comprises nine tours.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in September 2015 the city of Derbent marked its 2000^th anniversary. The city retains a large number of architectural monuments of various historical periods, says the material on Derbent, posted in the "Directory" section of the "Caucasian Knot".

The message about the release of the above application arrived to the SMS-service of the "Caucasian Knot" on March 3. "For the first time in Derbent a free mobile guide is offered – eight hiking and a bus tours developed by the above Museum," wrote the author of the message.

During these tours, the mobile guide will acquaint tourists with the history of top attractions of the upper and central parts of the city, as well as cultural and historical monuments that are located outside the city walls, Diana Gasanova, Director of the Museum told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
