"RBC": issue of Ramzan Kadyrov's third term already solved

Ramzan Kadyrov will be appointed the acting head of the Chechen Republic until the end of the term of office and will receive from Vladimir Putin the permission to take part in the direct election of the Chechen leader, the "RBC" reported on March 2 with reference to at once three sources close to the Kremlin and the Chechen authorities.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the second Ramzan Kadyrov's term at the post of the Chechen leader expires on April 5. In February, he repeatedly announced that he had no desire to continue leading the republic, and the Ramzan Kadyrov's subordinates responded by calls to stay their "padishah", made on behalf of the Muslims and the Chechen people.

The Ramzan Kadyrov's statements about his leaving the politics do not correspond to the real situation. Until April 5, Ramzan Kadyrov will be appointed the acting head of Chechnya, and in September, he will take part in the direct election, the "RBC" was informed by three sources close to the Vladimir Putin's administration and the Chechen authorities.

The "RBC" quotes the comment made by Ziyad Sabsabi, a representative of Chechnya in the Federation Council, who reports that soon Vladimir Putin and Ramzan Kadyrov will hold a meeting, during which they will discuss the Ramzan Kadyrov's participation in the election of the leader of Chechnya.
