Svetlana Trishina released from custody

The Moscow City Court has changed the pre-trial restriction measure to Svetlana Trishina, who was kept in custody in the criminal case of the terror act in the "Domodedovo" Airport. The defendant will stay under house arrest until February 28, the "Interfax" reports.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) has asked to soften the pre-trial restriction measure to Svetlana Trishina, a defendant in the case of the terror act in the "Domodedovo" Airport. On February 9, the Court pronounced the decision to arrest three defendants in the case of the terror act in 2011, including Vyacheslav Nekrasov, the former director of the airport, Andrei Danilov, the former manager of aviation security, and Svetlana Trishina, the former airport top manager.

On February 12, the Prosecutor's Office challenged the Court's decision. On February 18, Dmitry Kamenschik, a co-owner of the "Domodedovo" Airport, was detained in the case of the terror act. He is also charged with providing services failing to meet safety requirements. The General Prosecutor's Office insists that the detention and house arrest of Dmitry Kamenschik are illegal.

Svetlana Trishina will be forbidden to use mail and phone (except for communication with advocates and call of emergency services), but she will be allowed to walk two hours a day and to visit the nearby shops and health care institutions. Besides, she is also forbidden to communicate with other defendants in the case.

Advocate Olga Mokridina has reminded the Court that her client did not make control decisions and was "too far from airport activities and observance of security measures."
