Residents of three districts of Dagestan have no constraints from CTO regime

Residents of the three districts of Dagestan, which are under the counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime, say that they have no problems related thereto. According to their stories, schools and kindergartens in the villages of the Tabasaran, Suleiman-Stalsky and Khiv Districts work as usual.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today at 7:00 a.m. Moscow time, the CTO regime was introduced in the territory of the above three districts of Dagestan. Power agents are searching for members of illegal armed formations (IAFs), said the spokesman of the republic's operative headquarters.

In the village of Chuvek, Khiv District, militaries "conducted a special operation with the use of an infantry combat vehicle (known as BMP)," but "recently the situation in the village has become much calmer," said a villager named Zalimkhan. According to his story, "none of the villagers has noticed any restrictions." "Schools are working in the normal mode; children go through the village; and we live our normal life," Zalimkhan told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

A resident of the village of Sirtich, Tabasaran District, has also stated, in his conversation with the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent, that "the CTO regime does not affect the villagers' everyday life."

There are no militaries in the village of Kasumkent, said a villager, who works in a local school. "We are working in normal way; nobody even warned us about the CTO regime. I was all day in the school; we calmly held classes," he told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
