CTO regime cancelled in Khasavyurt District

Law enforcers have completed their special operation in the Khasavyurt District of Dagestan, which was put under the counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime, said the spokesman of the republic's operative headquarters. The results of the CTO are not reported.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the CTO regime was introduced in the district on February 12. According to a law enforcement source, in the forest, power agents discovered a camp of members of an illegal armed formation (IAF), and started a shootout with them. Later, power agents reported that four militants were blocked.

Let us note here that villagers of Novomekhelta, Siukh and Pervomayskoe of the Khasavyurt District reported that the CTO regime had no impact on their daily life.
