Savchenko express distrust testimonies of witness Manshin

Dmitry Manshin, a witness in the case of the Ukrainian pilot Nadezhda Savchenko, has stated at interrogation the truthfulness of the version of the prosecution. Savchenko and her defence have disagreed with Manshin's testimonies, and received a remark for that. Nadezhda's advocate has spread over the Internet a record of the conversation, where one of the interlocutors was supposedly the father of the witness.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that, according to investigators, Savchenko was correcting the artillery fire, which killed on June 17, 2014, two journalists of the VGTRK (all-Russian State TV and Radio Company).

Earlier, Alexei Pochechuev, an FSB officer and a witness for the prosecution, was testifying while wearing large sunglasses and a wig. Savchenko's advocates have stated that the signature of the person, who gave evidence in court under the guise of Pochechuev, differs from the witness' signature in the case files.

According to Dmitry Manshin, a senior investigator for especially important cases of the Chief Department of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF), he saw Savchenko for the first time on June 25, 2014, in the Voronezh hotel "Euro". Before the arrival of the investigator, armed men were with Savchenko in her hotel room; they wouldn't let her to leave the hotel, Nadezhda asserts.

Answering the defence's questions, Manshin was at a loss to state whether anyone had seen Savchenko on the tower, from where, according to investigators, she was correcting the fire.

The advocate Mark Feigin has posted in his Twitter a link to an audio record, which had been sent, according to his version, by an anonymous user, who is allegedly Manshin's father.
