Ingush woman suspected of aiding and abetting militants

Investigators believe that a 31-year-old female resident of Ingushetia rendered assistance to members of the armed underground: the woman provided the militants with information and followed their instructions.

According to the investigators, in the period from December 2014 to October 31, 2015, the woman rendered assistance to members of an illegal armed formation (IAF), active in the territory of Ingushetia. The court has taken the woman in custody as a pre-trial restriction measure.

The criminal investigation is underway, reports the website of the Investigating Department for the Republic of Ingushetia of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF).

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on January 21, a resident of the Khasavyurt District of Dagestan was sentenced to five years and six months of imprisonment for aiding and abetting militants and illegal possession of an explosive device.
