Georgian native fighting for IS killed in Syria
In Syria, Khvicha Gobadze, a citizen of Georgia, was killed during combat actions. This was reported by his relatives. The information about the Khvicha Gobadze's death was also confirmed by the State Security Service of Georgia.
Saly Katamadze, the wife of Khvicha Gobadze, wrote on his death in social networks. The man's parents who live in the village of Akhalsheni located not far from Batumi, claim they have learned of the death of their son from the messages in the social networks.
The State Security Service of Georgia has confirmed the death of Khvicha Gobadze, who was fighting in the ranks of the "Islamic State" (IS) in Syria; however, no other details were disclosed, the "InterPressNews" reports.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that according to the Georgian authorities, recruiters of the IS are active in the country, in particular, in the villages of the Pankisi Gorge.
