In Rostov Region, three young women detained on suspicion of plotting terror act
In the Rostov Region, three young women have become defendants in a criminal case instituted under the article on preparation of a terror act. This was reported by a source from the law enforcement bodies.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on January 18, law enforcers reported that in Rostov-on-Don, in a private house in the Leninsky District, law enforcers detained a man and three young women suspected of plotting an explosion.
"Three young women are detained. They are suspected of plotting a terror act in the Rostov Region. At present, investigators use them in the investigative activities," reports a source from the law enforcement bodies as quoted by the "Interfax-South" this morning.
The criminal case has been instituted against the suspects under Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (a terror act).
Till present, the names of the young women are not reported. Meanwhile, no official confirmation of the information is available.
The detainees are young women of 20, 21 and 25 years old, who lived in an side wing of one of the private houses in Rostov-on-Don. In their room, policemen found and seized extremist books and explosive substances. These findings, together with the notebooks of the young women, are sent for examination, the "LifeNews" reports with reference to a source from the law enforcement bodies of the Rostov Region.
