In Nalchik, third man killed in blocked house, source reports

According to the preliminary information, the third suspected militant, who was shelling law enforcers from a private house in the capital of Kabardino-Balkaria, was shot and killed. This was reported by a source from the law enforcement bodies of Kabardino-Balkaria.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on January 15, the counterterrorist operation (CTO) legal regime was introduced in Nalchik. Law enforcers blocked suspected militants in one of the private houses. According to the law enforcers, two militants were killed during the storming of the house.

The law enforcers have offered a man blocked in the house to lay down his arms and surrender; however, he opened fire. According to the preliminary information, the suspected member of an illegal armed grouping (IAF) was killed, the "Russia 24" TV Channel reports with reference to a source from the law enforcement bodies of Kabardino-Balkaria.

Besides, the source has also reported that tenants of nearby houses were evacuated.
