In case of Bottaev's murder, informants promised double reward
Informants, who help solve the murder of MP Khadis Bottaev, the chief physician of the Republican Clinical Hospital in Kabardino-Balkaria, will receive rewards both from relatives of the killed man and from the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on December 7, the Kabardino-Balkarian MIA promised to pay 3 million roubles "for the information about the persons who had committed the crime, as well as for any other information useful for investigators." On January 9, the MIA also announced the willingness of the relatives of the killed man to pay for the information that would help the investigation.
The relatives of Khadis Bottaev have confirmed the information on the reward, but decided not to voice the amount.
Let us remind you that Khadis Bottaev was killed at his home in the village of Khasanya on December 5, 2015. Presumably, several people shelled and killed sleeping Khadis Bottaev from firearms. Till present, investigators have got no suspects. They treat the professional activities of Khadis Bottaev at his post of the head physician of the Republican Clinical Hospital as one of the main versions of his murder. Khadis Bottaev dismissed 311 employees of the hospital and closed private pharmacies operating in the territory of the hospital. Besides, he was struggling against bribery among physicians.
