Nagorno-Karabakh reports decrease of attacks at contact line
The number of ceasefire violations at the contact line of the armed forces of Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan has decreased and thus made possible the visits of public activists to the advanced positions in the framework of the programme "Army-Society Communication". This was reported by the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Nagorno-Karabakh.
"Several days before the new year, the intensity of ceasefire violations committed by the Azerbaijani armed forces has decreased. In the period of January 1-6, the number of ceasefire violations has decreased to a minimum," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by Senor Asratyan, the chief of the press service of the MoD of Nagorno-Karabakh.
Senor Asratyan has also added that due to the relatively calm situation, members of more than a dozen NGOs, MPs, teams of public institutions, pupils and students, and philanthropists managed to visit the forefront of the armed forces to wish soldiers happy New Year holidays and give presents for them.
