Hiding with weapons and ammunition discovered in Dagestan
Law enforcers discovered a hiding with improvised explosive devices (IEDs) in a forested area in the Gunib District of Dagestan.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today, the counterterrorist operation (CTO) legal regime, introduced within the administrative of boundaries of the Gunib District of Dagestan on December 27, has been cancelled. On December 28, the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) reported on killing of a militant, who was preliminary identified as Shamil Nurmagomedov, the leader of the "Sogratl" criminal grouping.
"We found a hiding, from which we seized a Kalashnikov machine gun, a submachine gun, a hand-held antitank grenade launcher, four IEDs ready for use, and a large quantity of ammunition," the "Interfax" quotes a source from the law enforcement bodies for the region as reporting.
According to the source, the IED have been defused; however, the persons who arranged the hiding have not been identified yet.
