Two Dagestani districts put under CTO regime
The counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime has been introduced today within the administrative borders of the Suleiman-Stalsky and certain sections of the Khiv District.
"During the CTO, until a further notification, the above territory will be under a number of special measures and temporary restrictions," said a source from the operative headquarters for Dagestan.
The CTO regime was introduced at 6:00 p.m. Moscow time, the "Interfax" reports.
Within the Khiv District, the CTO regime was introduced in the dwelling settlements of Zaza, Kontsil, Chilikar, road fork Mekhtikent and mountain crossing Cherensky, said the RIA "Novosti".
The today's armed attack on people in Dagestan, which was first reported the "Caucasian Knot", has occurred in the area of Naryn-Kala Fortress at about 00:30 a.m. Moscow time. According to Rumina Demirova, the head physician of the Central City Hospital of Derbent, 12 persons were hospitalized with gunshot wounds; one of them died; the health condition of the remaining 11 is stable.
