Azerbaijani MoD reports on 18 Armenian soldiers killed this week

In the period of December 13-20, 18 Armenian soldiers were killed, and more than 20 soldiers were wounded. This was reported by the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Azerbaijan.

As at 12:20 a.m. Moscow time, the Armenian side has neither confirmed nor denied the information reported by the Azerbaijani MoD.

According to the Azerbaijani MoD, during the past day, the Azerbaijani armed forces have "prevented all attempts of sabotage" and "inflicted point fire strikes on the enemy positions."

"The return fire destroyed two and wounded four Armenian soldiers. In total, during the week, the casualties of the Armenian forces reached 18 men, and more than 20 soldiers were wounded," reports the message published on the website the Azerbaijani MoD.

The message also reports that "during the armed clashes, Ibragim Avaz oglu Nurmammedzade, a soldier of the Azerbaijani army, was killed."
