Doctors report no threat to lives of shelled fire-fighters
Two fire-fighters, who were attacked in the Derbent District of Dagestan, stay at the traumatology ward of the Derbent City Hospital.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in the Derbent District of Dagestan, two staff members of the Ministry for Emergencies (MfE) were hospitalized as a result of shelling. According to law enforcers, unidentified persons shelled a special vehicle when the fire-fighters were called to the village of Muzaim.
According to the head of the traumatology ward, the state of the fire-fighters is stable, and there is no threat to their lives, reports Tamil Gazimagomedova, the chief of the press service of the Russian MfE's Department for Dagestan.
Tamil Gazimagomedova has also reported that the call for which the MfE's fire fighting team went was not false, as it has been earlier reported.
Till present, no information about the cause of the fire has been reported. The police launched an investigation into the shelling, and a criminal case was instituted under Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (disorderly conduct), which stipulates the punishment of up to five years of imprisonment.
