Azerbaijani MIA reports on five persons killed in Nardaran
The number of people arrested in Nardaran reaches 32. This was reported by Ramil Usubov, Minister of Internal Affairs (MIA).
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 26, clashes between believers and the police occurred in Nardaran. The unrest was caused by the police special operation, during which the policemen detained 14 activists of the movement "Muslim Unity", including theologian Talekh Bagirzade.
Since November 26, in the course of the special operation in the village of Nardaran, Azerbaijani law enforcers killed five persons and arrested other 32 persons, Ramil Usubov, Minister of Internal Affairs, has stated as quoted by the "Interfax" with reference to the "AzTV".
Besides, during the special operation, the law enforcers seized six submachine guns, pistols, and other ammunition.
The Minister has asked the residents of Nardaran to voluntarily surrender their weapons to inspectors of the patrol services of the MIA.
Let us remind you that on December 1, armed law enforcers cordoned off tightly the village of Nardaran. According to witnesses, local residents were taken away to some unknown destination. In the course of the special operation in the village of Nardaran, 19 local residents were detained, their fellow villagers report.
