Dagestani woman sentenced for involvement in armed underground
In Dagestan, a local woman has been sentenced to five years of imprisonment for involvement in the Tsuntin grouping.
A resident of the village of Vitsiyatli of the Tsuntin District has been found guilty under Part 2 of Article 208 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (involvement in an armed formation not envisaged by federal law). According to the court, in the period starting from 2010 till June 2014, the woman was a member of the Tsuntin grouping, and she provided members of the grouping with housing and supplied them with food and clothing.
By the decision of the Tlyarata District Court, the woman sentenced to imprisonment will serve her sentence in a common-security penal colony, reports the press service of the Prosecutor's Office of Dagestan.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in October 2015, the Tlyarata District Court sentenced a resident of the village of Khibyatli of the Tsuntin District of Dagestan for five years and four months of imprisonment for rendering assistance to a member of a local illegal armed formation (IAF).
