Nardaran detainees named

Residents of Nardaran managed to learn the names of all those detained in the course of the special operation conducted in the village. The situation in Nardaran remains tense; the village streets were cleared of barricades; however, the village has no electricity and telephone communication, but the number of power agents at the entrances to the village is increasing.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that as a result of November 26 clashes in Nardaran seven persons were killed. Villagers started a protest action, which was stopped on November 29 upon request of local elders.

Today, the municipal services cleared the central square and streets of Nardaran from the barricades set up by the protestors, said Natig Kerimov, one of the local elders. He added that the bodies of the casualties had not been given out yet.

According to Kerimov, they managed to learn the names of all those detained during a special operation on November 26. Apart from Talekh Bagirzade, they are residents of Nardaran: Abulfaz Bunyadov, Rasim Bunyadov, Abbas Tagizade, Abbas Guliev, Alibaba Veliev, Ali Nuriev, Jabbar Amiraslanoglu and Rasim Mirzabalaoglu, Kerbelai Etibar from the settlement of Bilgya, Shakhin Abdulaliev from Mushfigabad, and Bakhruz Guliev, Jihad Balaguseynoglu and a certain man named Ibragim.

According to Kerimov, state advocates have been appointed to all the detainees, who haven't met their clients yet.
