In Nalchik, evening CTO legal regime cancelled

The "Imarat Kavkaz" denies any involvement in the "Islamic State" (IS) (in Russia, both organizations are recognized as terrorist) of eleven militants, who have been killed this morning in the course of the counterterrorist operation (CTO) in Nalchik. Meanwhile, till present, the "Imarat Kavkaz" has reported no information concerning three other suspected members of illegal armed formations (IAFs) killed in the capital of Kabardino-Balkaria in the course of the special operation held in the evening.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today, the CTO legal regime has been twice introduced in Nalchik. According to the NAC, in the course of the CTO legal regime, acting from 8:00 until 1:00 p.m. Moscow time, 11 militants were killed in the vicinity of Nalchik, and during the evening special operation, law enforcers reported on three other killed suspects. According to the NAC, all 14 killed militants were members of the local unit of the "Islamic State" (banned in Russia and recognized as a terrorist organization).

This morning, 11 members of the "Imarat Kavkaz" were killed in Nalchik. This was reported by one of the websites, supporting militants of Northern Caucasus. The source also reports on the killing of Yuri Bitsuev, the leader of the Kabardino-Balkarian sector of the "Imarat Kavkaz", and denies the information about the involvement of the killed men in the IS.

A source of the "Caucasian Knot", who preferred to remain anonymous, also reported that the killed men had "apparently nothing in common with" the organization "Islamic State", banned in the Russian Federation.
