Robert Zankishiev's wife denies her involvement in militants' activities
Inna Blenaova, a Muslim woman of Robert Zankishiev, who was killed during the special operation in Nalchik, stated that she was not involved in the activities of members of the armed underground and that she did not support the militants. According to the woman, she refused to live together with Robert Zankishiev when she learned that he was wanted.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 10, in Nalchik, law enforcers blocked a house, where, according to their information, Robert Zankishiev, the leader of the local unit of the "Islamic State" (banned in Russia and recognized as a terrorist organization), stayed together with his Muslim wife. Robert Zankishiev was shot dead during the assault, and Inna Blenaova was wounded.
According Inna Blenaova, her first husband Aliy Guziev was killed during a special operation carried out in Shogentsukov Street in 2010. "In 2009, he disappeared, and for 1.5 years, I knew nothing of him," the woman has said.
"Then, Zankishiev appeared in my life. He showed signs of attention to me and my children and then offered to marry him," the woman has explained. She has also noted that she "kept her second marriage in secret from her parents, since Zankishiev was already married."
Inna Blenaova has noted that she regrets a lot. For example, she regrets the fact that she did not inform her parents about her second marriage. Beside, the woman has also added that Robert Zankishiev told her that he had sworn allegiance to the ISIL.
