In Rostov-on-Don, people evacuated from airport after report on bomb
In Rostov-on-Don, staff members of the airport and passengers were evacuated after a report on a bomb in luggage of one of the passengers. This was reported by a source from the emergency services for the Rostov Region.
According to the source, all the passengers and the staff were evacuated from the airport building.
"One of the passengers has refused to let his luggage to the luggage compartment and said that he had a bomb in his case," the RIA "Novosti" quotes a source from the emergency services for the Rostov Region as reporting.
The source has also noted that at 12:05 a.m. Moscow time, the luggage check has been completed, and no explosive device has been discovered.
The press service of the airport has confirmed the evacuation of people from the air terminal building. "In fact, the passengers and the staff have been evacuated. However, we cannot mention the reason for the evacuation," reports an official from the press service of the airport as quoted by the "Interfax".
