Imam Isa Koitemirov is in insulation facility of Kayakent ROVD

At night on October 25, Isa Koitemirov, Imam of the village of Novokayakent, was taken to the Kayakent ROVD (District Interior Division), where his detention was documented, said his advocate.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 25 Isa Koitemirov's detention was reported by his brother. According to his story, during a search of Isa's house, power agents planted weapons on him. In the evening on October 25, Imam's relatives told the police and supervisory bodies about his kidnapping.

"He is charged with Part 1, Article 222, Article 222.1 and Part 1, Article 228, of the Criminal Code (trafficking in arms, explosives and narcotic drugs, – note of the "Caucasian Knot"). Power agents told us that yesterday he confessed that the confiscated substances belonged to him. At 9:15 p.m. on October 25, he was taken to the Kayakent ROVD. There, he was interrogated in the presence of appointed advocate. According to power agents' video, the Imam made a confession," said Vladimir Korkhalyov, his advocate.

According to his version, the confession "was obtained with the use of pressure on Koitemirov."
