At night of October 25, in Batumi, unidentified persons broke into the house of Irakli Tavartkiladze, a member of the "United National Movement" Party. He believes the attack was politically motivated, and the police launched an investigation into the case under the article of theft.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 19 and 20, a series of attacks on the offices of the "United National Movement" Party (UNM) occurred in Tbilisi, Batumi, Gori, Kutaisi, Ozurgeti, and Poti. Only one person was detained in the course of them. Members of the UNM have stated that the attack was organized by the ruling coalition "Georgian Dream".

Irakli Tavartkiladze has said that the unidentified attackers smashed the yard and stole household items in order to confuse the traces. According to him, the attackers are the same grouping, which smashed the UNM's office several days ago, and at present, the attackers threaten families and continue to pressure them.

It should be noted that according to the members of the UNM, during a week, unidentified persons attacked nearly two dozen UNM's offices throughout the country. Besides, "Saakashvili's Library in Tbilisi was doused with paint."
