23 SFD and NCFD residents put on list of persons involved in terrorism

The Russian Federal Financial Monitoring Service (Rosfinmonitoring) has updated the list of persons involved in extremist and terrorist activities.

The list of individuals was complemented by 43 Russians; 23 of them are natives of Southern Russia. Also, the Rosfinmonitoring's list was complemented with 19 natives of Kabardino-Balkaria, 2 – of Ingushetia, and one person from Astrakhan and Chechnya each.

"Amendments have been made in the list of organizations and individuals against, on whom there is data about their involvement in extremist activities or terrorism", said the agency. The spokesman of the Rosfinmonitoring has stated that not all the persons on this list are "acting".

"The list also contains data on citizens who had been arrested or convicted for their terrorist activities, as well as those who had been neutralized as a result of special operations", the RIA "Kabardino-Balkaria" quoted its source from the agency.

In total, the list of persons, against whom there is evidence of their involvement in extremist or terrorist activities, contains 4465 Russian citizens.
