Republics of NCFD to send 5224 conscripts to army

During the autumn conscription to army, Dagestan plans to send for military service in the army the greatest number of conscripts 1500. The smallest number of all conscripts, as compared to other republics from the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD), will be sent to the army from Ingushetia 400 conscripts.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the autumn conscription will last in Russia until December 31. In total, the military enlistment office of the regions located within the boundaries of the Southern Military District (regions of the Southern Federal District (SFD), the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD), and Crimea) will send for military service in the army 24,000 conscripts. In total, more than 147,000 conscripts are to be sent for military service in army units.

1500 people from Dagestan will go to serve in the Russian military units, reports Daitbeg Mustafaev, Chief Military Commandant of the Republic of Dagestan.

Meanwhile, an officer of the Commissariat believes the question of deviation from military service "is not relevant for Dagestan."

According to Magomed Osmanov, the father of one of the conscripts, the desire of young people to serve in the army is primarily explained by the fact that a military card is required for the work at the law enforcement agencies and the civil service.

Conscripts from the North-Caucasian republics file no complaints to the human rights group "Citizen. Army. Law". This was reported by Sergey Krivenko, the head of the organization, Chairman of the Standing Commission on Civil-Military Relations Council under the President of Russia for the development of civil society and human rights.
