Three Ingush residents arrested on charges of involvement in armed underground
Tagir, Abo and Abdul-Kadyr Bogatyryov, residents of the village of Surkhakhi, detained during the counterterrorist operation (CTO), became defendants in the criminal cases on involvement in an illegal armed formation (IAF). Alikhan Bogatyryov, a fourth detainee, is under administrative arrest, after which he will be allowed to go home.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 12, the counterterrorist operation (CTO) legal regime was introduced in a number of villages of the Nazran District and the town of Karabulak. In the course of the special operation, according to law enforcers, three men were killed, and four others were detained. On October 13, relatives of detained Tagir, Abo and Alikhan Bogatyryov reported their disappearance.
The criminal cases against Tagir, Abo and Abdul-Kadyr Bogatyryov, three detained residents of the village of Surkhakhi, are instituted under Article 208 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (organization of an illegal armed formation (IAF) or involvement therein), reports an official from the law enforcement bodies of Ingushetia.
"The court took those people into custody as a pre-trial restriction measure. Alikhan Bogatyryov, a fourth detainee, is under administrative arrest," the Ingush law enforcer has said.
According to another law enforcer, the fourth detainee "had a quarrel with a policeman during detention." However, "his involvement in the armed underground was not confirmed."
