Police disperse action in Buynaksk (+video)
The police did not allow holding the meeting with participation of public activists and deputies of the Buynaksk City Council from the "Party of Veterans of Russia".
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today, law enforcers have cordoned off the central square in Buynaksk, where the city administration is located, to prevent holding the meeting of public activists and deputies. Besides, according to a member of the "Party of Veterans of Russia", were entrances and exits of Buynaksk were blocked.
The policemen, who did not let city residents to enter the central square, demanded to stop their gathering. Then, the police started to use special means to convince residents of Buynaksk to leave the place.
During the gathering, called by its organizers deputies of the City Council from the "Party of Veterans of Russia" a "meeting with voters", the city residents were supposed to meet members of the "Party of Veterans of Russia", ask questions, and discuss the current situation in the city.
Given the weather conditions, the deputies attempted to invite their voters to the hall of the Buynaksk administration; however, the gathered people were not allowed entering it, the "Chernovik" (Draft) reports.
Let us remind you that the "Party of Veterans of Russia" won the elections to the Buynaksk City Council, which were held on September 13.
