Investigators check financial motives in case of Kaplan Tebuev's murder
Kaplan Tebuev, the head of the village, killed in Karachay-Cherkessia, used to work earlier as a top manager of a major distillery. Investigators suggest that the crime can be connected with that period of his activities.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the attack on Kaplan Tebuev was committed on October 15. Unidentified persons made at least 28 shots from submachine guns at the head of the village and 36-year-old Rustam Bairamukov, who were in the car on the road Cherkessk-Dombai near the village of Djingirik of the Karachay District. Kaplan Tebuev died at the place from the wounds. Rustam Bairamukov got a gunshot wound to his arm. The investigators have reported on the suspects in the case.
One of the prior versions of the murder is the financial relations between the victim and the persons suspected of his murder, the news agency "Interfax-South" reports with reference to Sergey Shuvaev, Senior Assistant to the Chief of the Investigating Department for the Karachay-Cherkessian Republic (KChR) of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF).
The number of suspects includes Murat Batchaev, a resident of the town of Karachaevsk, born in 1981, and Arthur Kipkeev, born in 1978, the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) for the KChR reports.
According to the investigator, Kaplan Tebuev and his acquaintance Rustam Bairamukov came to the meeting, appointed by unidentified persons via phone. The victims did not even get out of their car, when fire was opened on them.
