In Buynaksk, at least seven persons detained after dispersal of deputies' meeting with voters

In Buynaksk, the dispersal of the deputies' meeting with their voters ended with detentions. The participants of the meeting are charged with disobeying the lawful demands of the police.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 16, law enforcers cordoned off the central square of Buynaksk, where the administration was located, to prevent the meeting between public activists and members of the City Council of the "Party of Veterans of Russia". The police claimed that the meeting was an unsanctioned rally and used batons against the gathered people. The organizers complained that the police had broken sound-amplifying equipment. Deputies demanded to bring to justice the persons guilty of the incident.

After the dispersal of the action, at least seven persons were brought to the police station, and law enforcers ranked them as the instigators of the riots, the "Kommersant" reports with reference to the press service of the Dagestani Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).

The number of detainees is likely to increase after the police watch a video, made in the central square.

Two of the detainees are charged with disobedience to the lawful demands of the police. The police reported no persons injured.

According to the unofficial information, some of the participants of the action were injured. One of them got a finger broken, the "Rain" (Dozhd) TV Channel reports.
