CTO legal regime introduced in Khasavyurt District

The counterterrorist operation (CTO) legal regime is introduced in three villages of the Khasavyurt District of Dagestan and on the terrain between the villages. Law enforcers are searching for militants.

According to the "Caucasian Knot", on October 15, the CTO legal regime was introduced in the Derbent District of Dagestan, and on October 13 in the Tsumada District of Dagestan, where one person was detained during the CTO legal regime. On October 10, the special legal regime was introduced in the Untsukul District. As a result of the special operation, three militants were killed, and three local residents were detained. The special legal regime was cancelled on October 12.

Today, at 6:30 a.m., the CTO legal regime was introduced within a part of the Khasavyurt District of Dagestan. According to the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC), militants are hiding in the above territory.

"The measures to discover and neutralize militants are underway," the "TASS" reports with reference to the operational headquarters of the NAC for Dagestan.
