NAC reports on three militants killed in Gimry

Today, at 6:40 a.m., a regime of counterterrorist operation (CTO) has been introduced in the Dagestani village of Gimry. Law enforcers blocked the armed men in a house. Three suspected militants, blocked in the house in the village, were killed as a result of the armed clash, the press centre of the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) reports.

"They were members of the so-called 'Gimry' criminal grouping involved in a series of audacious terrorist crimes, including attempts on law enforcers and extortions of large amounts of money from entrepreneurs," the RIA "Novosti" quotes the NAC's press centre as reporting.

The money obtained criminally was directed to finance the terrorist activities in Northern Caucasus, the "TASS" reports with reference to the NAC.
