MIA states involvement of Shamil Magomedov, killed in Makhachkala, in kidnappings
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), Shamil Magomedov, shot dead in the capital of Dagestan, was involved in several serious crimes, including attempts on lives of law enforcers, and kidnappings.
The "Caucasian Knot" has informed that a young man, later identified as Shamil Magomedov, was shot dead on October 7. According to law enforcement bodies, he opened fire on policemen and was killed by return fire.
Magomedov was an active helper of the "Makhachkala" grouping; a PM traumatic gun, converted by shooting live ammunition and an F-1 grenade with a fuse were found on him, said the press service of the Chief Department of Russia’s MIA for the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD).
According to the MIA, Magomedov was involved in a number of grave and especially grave crimes, including attempts on lives of law enforcers, and kidnappings. The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed by a local law enforcement source that Shamil Magomedov, in particular, was involved in kidnapping the son of Magomed Rasulov, the director of the Makhachkala bus station "Yuzhnaya".
